Insignia Academy
New members are trained at the Starfleet Academy in San Fransico on Earth. There are three types of insignia.
The first being a triangular shape with the silhouette of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The second, which was worn during the 23rd century features the 10 petalled silver flower on a grey background.
The Third is a special insignia and is kept for the elite Red Squadron, which receive special training and it has the delta feature styled like an arrow shooting through the red, black rim.
