Insignia United Federations of Planets
In the 2250's the unified nations of Earth. The insignia features a stylised globle, which is framed by laurel wreaths and was used on the uniforms of that period.
After the Unitied Federation of Planets was formed a new emblem which was based on the United Earth logo was adopted. The wreaths remain but the globe was replaced by stars.
Finally the text was dropped but the overall pattern remains and was updated with a little colour.
